Congratulations to the Slocum Junior High UIL Team for a first place win! This makes the third year in a row that they have won first place in district. You represented our school well! Great job!

 

The Palestine Rotary Club generously donated dictionaries to all Slocum 3rd grade students. These dictionaries have been a real asset to our classroom and the students are really enjoying how useful they are in all of their classes. Students are learning new words, definitions, and all of the aspects of how to use a dictionary.

 

A tremendous THANK YOU to the Slocum School Board. They are a wonderful, caring people who put the needs of the students education above all else. Once again school board, THANK YOU for a job well done and for superb leadership of our school.
