Attendance
The Slocum Independent School District recognizes the positive impact that regular school attendance has on student achievement.
When students are not in class they miss important information and instruction. Quality education requires regular and continuous instruction. The district needs to have every day.
District staff will contact parents by telephone and/or letter to assist in encouraging regular student attendance.
