| The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act requires that districts publicly report the annual progress of meeting the State's annual measurable objectives established by the Texas Education Agency for ensuring that all teachers of core academic subjects in the district are highly qualified by the end of the 2006-2007 school year [Section 1119(a)(1) and (3)]. Since school-year 2005-2006, the state target is at 100%. |
